We received this message this morning.
Teams- With the severe weather that has passed over the field in the last 48 hours, and after inspection this morning at the fields this morning, we will not be able to hold the Hustle this weekend. There is standing water across the entire complex. Attempting to play would result in severe damage to the fields. With an event this size, it isn't feasible to attempt to secure backup fields, nor is there available fields that would be in a better state post rainfall in the metro area. We are currently investigating a few options, one of which is hosting the event next weekend in Maple Plain at the same site. We understand USAU Centrals would be a obvious conflict for some teams. In the next 24-48 hours, we will send out additional communication with our go forward plan. If next weekend is the route that we go, we will be sure to collect information from every team on whether or not attendance is possible (in the form of a Google Doc rather than individual reply emails). There is no need to reply on next weekends availability for your team until that communication is sent. All out of town teams were notified prior to departing for Minneapolis.
